The Story Behind Our H & H Monogram
Two Hs, one flowing line, and a small heart at the centre: our monogram is a visual version of the way our lives kept crossing until they became one story.

It began with the simplest thing: our initials
Both of our names begin with H, so the starting point for our monogram was obvious. But we did not want two letters placed neatly beside each other as if that was the whole story. Our relationship has never felt like two parallel lines that met once and stayed perfectly straight. It has been full of crossings, pauses, loops, distance, reconnection and, eventually, a decision to move forward together.
That is why the monogram is built around two distinct H forms connected by a sweeping line. Each H is still recognisable on its own. Neither disappears into the other. For us, that matters. Marriage is not about erasing the people we were before we met. It is about bringing two complete lives, families, histories and ambitions into a shared direction.
We wanted two initials that could remain themselves and still belong to the same mark.
The line between us
The part we love most is the movement through the centre. The line travels between the two letters, crossing and looping before forming a heart. It feels almost like a map of our story: the missed meeting at Imisi 3D, the first phone call in 2021, finally meeting in person in 2022, reconnecting through work in 2023, seeing each other again in France, pausing when the timing was wrong, and finding our way back when it was right.
The heart is not sitting outside the initials as decoration. It appears where the movement of the two forms meets. That makes it feel less like an added romantic symbol and more like the natural result of the connection between us.
There is also something gentle about the continuous curve. It softens the strong vertical shapes of the Hs and gives the mark a sense of motion. We wanted our wedding identity to feel elegant, but never stiff; personal, but not overly literal.
A signature for this chapter
You will see the H & H monogram across different parts of our wedding world because it has become our quiet signature. It can sit on a page, a card, a keepsake or a screen and still carry the same idea: two people, two families and one future being built with intention.
We also like that the monogram does not explain everything at first glance. It simply invites you to look a little longer. The more you notice the crossing line and the heart at the centre, the more the symbol begins to resemble the story behind it.
For us, that is what makes a wedding detail worth keeping. It should not only look beautiful on the day. It should still mean something years later. We hope that when we see these two Hs in the future, we will remember this season exactly as it feels now: full of movement, gratitude, possibility and home.
